Oh Summer: 2020

Oh Summer, welcome back. 

Even though things aren’t quite what it use to be at the moment I will embrace your hotness and sunny days ahead. Though at times summer, you are so dreadful with the heat and with all your insect friends, that likes to suck the life out of me. I still look forward to making memories in the hot and long days ahead .. with spontaneous road trips of course.  What can I say, I’m a summer baby, so I’ll eat ice cream to that! Ha!

Happy Summertime: 2019

Summer is definitely in full swing here where I live. The weather has been very calm lately, with some cool breezes to cool us down in the evening nights. Can’t complain, but then some days is where Mother Nature is testing us. Having the Ac on, ice drinks in hand. Not wanting to venture out in the daytime....

So where ever you maybe at the moment, hoping your summer is starting out great. Keep cool, make memories and be safe.

Senior 2019: Dillon "CHS"

This guy holds a very special place in my heart. So when I was asked to do his senior photo I was so honored. We waited till his senior year was coming to an end. For there was lots of exciting events coming up and the big end of the year celebration. Where he gets to wear his cap and gown to officiate that his senior is coming to an end.
We were lucky to get a nice break in the weather to do the photo shoot. We had good laughs, got some great shots but we opted to do part 2 of his senior portrait. Which will be coming very soon. Looking forward to celebrating this beautiful milestone in his life.

Spring Fever: K Birthday

Spring season is well under way. The weather has been so blessed here where I live. Seeing people out and about enjoying this beautiful weather.  Of course  until the rain comes where things has to be put on halt for a day or two, but it seems very  tempting to walk in the rain... 

Had a great opportunity of getting a quick photo session with this lovely gal. Who’s birthday will be coming up very soon. We were delighted when the rain gave us a short sunny day, we took it and made what we can for the afternoon. I can’t believe she’s grown so much, seems like yesterday she was just playing with barbies and going to pre school. Nonetheless feeling a tiny sad but so proud of seeing her grow into a young lady before my eyes.

Hello Beautiful Morning: Sunday Fun

Good Morning everyone!....

 As I inch my way out of bed this morning.  I dragged oneself to check the weather outside. As it seems, the last couple of weeks has been brutal here. The scorching hot sun, and smoke coming from the surrounding fires, brought in the most awful combination of weather and air quality here.

Hibernating is what I did, and my best friend at the moment, is my AC unit of keeping me cool.  This  morning the sun was shining brightly as ever, but a slight chill in the air was a surprise for me. I guess the light wind from last evening did the trick, a slight cool down for a day or two. I’ll take anything, enjoying oneself on this cool summer morning.

Oh Happy Summer: 2018

Happy first day of Summer! Beach, pool, BBQ...oh the lazy days of summer. I mean it’s boiling hot here where I’m living for some time now. Plus I’m on vacation.. so that  means everyday is an open book. No plans, just going with the feel of the day. Enjoying oneself immensely and just relaxing away...hope your first day of summer will be filled with fun memories and laughters... the little moments in life that matters the most.

Enjoying nature at it’s best, blessed to be alive and get to see this beautiful summer day.

Relaxing is in full force: Summer 2018

...the extra minutes to sleep in the morning is so worth it. No alarm.. no hustling to get ready for the day. Just a nice cup of drink to start the day.. so looking forward to this. My mojo for this summer, relax, relax...focus on oneself. I’ve admit I have neglected myself for sometime now. Need to focus on myself.  Oh summer, I just love you. (Minus the hot weather).
